Fueron anunciados los nominados a los World Fantasy Awards, celebrados en octubre en el World Fantasy Convention en Columbia, Ohio. El tema de este año es Flights of Fantasy (vuelos de fantasia) y además de incluyen los lifetime achievement (Premios a la trayectoria) que serán otorgados a Andrzej Sapkowski y David G. Harwell.
